Crop Doctor Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Crop Doctor is an organic-first garden-care app from BMD Pat LLC. It helps home gardeners analyze plant leaf photos and receive AI-assisted garden-care suggestions.

Information you provide

When you choose or capture a plant photo, Crop Doctor sends that image to our backend so it can generate a result. You should avoid uploading photos that include people, addresses, labels, documents, or other private details in the background.

AI processing

Crop Doctor may share the selected plant photo, prompt, and generated response with a third-party AI provider only to service your request and return the plant-care result. Crop Doctor includes an in-app consent step before camera or photo-library scanning.

On-device storage

Scan history and In My Garden saves are stored on your device. This version of Crop Doctor does not require an account and does not sync your saved scans to a user account.

Backend and diagnostic data

Our backend may process technical request data such as timestamps, error logs, IP-derived network information, and response status for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service reliability. We do not sell this data and do not use Crop Doctor photos for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Tracking and ads

Crop Doctor does not include advertising and does not track users across apps or websites.

Children

Crop Doctor is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Important garden-care disclaimer

Crop Doctor provides AI-assisted garden-care suggestions only. It is not a lab diagnosis, food-safety service, pesticide compliance tool, or substitute for a local extension office, agronomist, or experienced gardener. Always follow product labels and local rules before applying anything to edible plants.
