Crop Doctor helps home gardeners scan plant leaves and receive organic-first garden-care suggestions. If something is not working, start here.

Getting a better scan

• Use bright natural light when possible.
• Fill the frame with the affected leaf or stem.
• Capture spots, webbing, insects, yellowing, or edge damage.
• Avoid photos with people, addresses, or private details.

Camera or photo library issues

Make sure Crop Doctor has permission to access the camera or selected photos in iOS Settings. The app also requires the in-app AI photo processing toggle before scanning.

Diagnosis quality

Results are AI-assisted suggestions based on visual cues. They can be incomplete or wrong, especially when lighting is poor, multiple plants overlap, or symptoms are early. For serious disease, invasive pests, valuable plants, or edible crops, confirm with a local extension office or experienced gardener.

Data and privacy

Selected photos are sent off-device to generate the result. Scan history and In My Garden saves are stored on your device in this version. Read the Crop Doctor Privacy Policy.
